GoPod - anyone seen or used?

Postby stubbsy on Tue Jul 12, 2005 5:30 pm

Has anyone ever seen or used the GoPod which looks half way between a monopod and a tripod. Looks an interesting compromise between hand held flexibility and tripod stability, but it isn't cheap US$415 from Adorama)

Peter,
Not a joke here again, I tried it nearly 18 months ago in the US, one of my buddies got it, look very funny and it's not ease to use, I went back to the monopod instead of.

Figured you'd have had a play with one birddog. Costs nearly as much as a Gitzo 1325

Looks like a shoulder mount?

Hmmm....now you mention it. I don't think it looks phallic but those do look like legs over his shoulder......

Geeze... the product looks like a massive extension of the phallus doesn't it?

Hell, it could be a sex toy depending on which sex wore it...

Interesting (albeit ugly) concept.
