Warwick, Come along and you'll be made more than welcome. Apart from getting to play with a ton of Nikon gear (sorry; that's just how it is) stuff like our Photoshop workshops, sensor cleaning instruction sessions, and the array of tripods (Gitzo, Manfrotto) and other hardware that's usually there is relevant for users of all brands of camera. Plus, and again, regardless of your camera brand, we can show you some practical techniques that will help you get the best out your equipment, whomever makes it! Looking forward to seeing you. g.

Warwick, if you're reading this - the mini-meets are definately worth a trip out there..hop on the M5 and you're there in no time. We should organise to go altogether, you and me and our Mrs' We can even go in your family wagon? Now that would be Geoff

I hope and wish you soon achieve your goals! the more you guy were tortured at work, the more you'll wish to see the freedom of a week-end and enjoying your life. I used to work 7 days a week and two jobs a days when I was in the US and now I know the down side of it. Birddog114

I'm hoping I can get to this one too Birdy.
I haven't been to many at all - erm, 1 in fact. Sam and I are looking for a new place to live, so if we don't see anything in the paper tomorrow morning then I'll be along too. Matt
Stuff that's generic will be available to all. This includes our neck and wrist straps, polo shirts, cleaning gear, bags, printers, excessories, and so on.
I'm hopeful that Birddog will be able to establish a distribution line with Canon, but that's entirely his business, his decision, etc, and we need to be ever mindful that he does have a business to run and respectful of that in the way that we partake of his time. And that's not even giving his family a run! g.

Ah ha - is there a stock of that cool neck strap? I think it's the one that you can take off the padding and make it into a little hand strap too. How much are they because I would be interested in one of them. Matt
Bring much plastic bills with you, I have room for them $36.00 for Grip Strap and $30.00 for Pro Loop Strap Birddog114

If you don't mind a late comer, I can get there about 10:30. Did a deal with my man last night...I will have to bring two of the short kind, but they are normally well behaved.
cheers Deb "Sometimes when you are sad Poko, it's good to hug the monkey."
Will they be cooked, or do we need to fire up Birddog's BBQ? g.

LOL, interesting culinary habits you have Gary.
How did Leigh survive for so long?
As I am bringing the eldest and the youngest I would suggest going for the newbie, he hasnt had much time to toughen up. "Sometimes when you are sad Poko, it's good to hug the monkey."
