Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Wake me up and you'll regret it!!Please critique away!
1/60" - f1.8 Cheers - beej
handheld i presume? ... what ISO?
cool shot, but would love to see more DOF ... perhaps narrow the aperture a little at either expense of slower shutter (problem if handheld) or bump ISO and it at the expense of noise?
Yep handheld, 200ISO
Light wasn't good, and didn't think to bump up the ISO, so i was left with f1.8 to minimise camera shake. I did bump up the exposure compensation in ACR, probably a bit too much. Thanks your suggestions. - beej
agree with the comments on over exposure and DOF
Should be able to fix that in post though. Perhaps a vertical crop to make the him a portrait. That would take the lizards body from the shot. looks nicer for me when I tried that. Just my 2 cents worth. Steve
