Red rumpped parrotThese guys are endangered and i only see them around sporadically in the wild. This time i had my camera!!! I was lucky to get close to them, as it was only a fleeting visit. I have more if you want to see them. Let me know and i will process them.

Red rumpped parrot ? I thought these were Mr and Mrs grass parrot ? Nice shots of very beatiful birds. CD
CD http://canberrabirds.org.au/red%20rumped%20parrot.htm I think grass parrot is a commonly used synonym. A friend of mine also calls them ground parrots, but he is wrong. Im glad you like them. The 70-300 G can turn out a few nice shots from time to time. Just wish i had got the ISO right. (i always forget to check it)!!!
