We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. If I'm right as to where this is, there are many spots there that give the impression of a space colony - it's a really cool spot that I haven't made it out to with the camera! Thanks for the reminder!
While I like the concept, I think I agree with Glen in that the IR didn't really add that much to the feeling in this case. I quite like the angle, and the darkness of the sky - and the b&w treatment of the subject works well (I think I read somewhere else in the last couple of days someone else commenting on how b&w really works well for sparse/industrial type subjects). *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
I like the IR effect, I would like to see in in B&W tho. I like the sterile spacey feeling that IR gives off, which I think would be lost in B&W.
