Droll Matt, very droll Yep I've heard it's a great little utility and worth every cent you pay for it. Peter

Looks to me like a certained unnamed forensic moderator has sliced and diced his thread but left a little fatherly evidence behind.

Stubbsy, I sliced and diced after getting Matt K approval as it seemed like the post was in the wrong spot (or he is no fan of experimental shots)

Well that's ordinary Glen - no fun if it's you doing the deed And - Matt, at the risk of taking you seriously - we're talking Nikon Picture Project aren't we? Peter

I am serious...this time. I need to determine if it can be used in a training environment by students to keep their images organized. It comes free with the D70 and I can't use "unauthorized" software. (read pirate).
The students will have Photoshop for the fun work. Regards

Sorry Matt, thought you were being clever
Nikon View pretty much does the same and is also free. Why not use it. Edit: Just checked the Nikon Asia site and they both have the same licence agreement wording as best as I can tell. Peter

Thanks Peter
I guess I could do that but I am wondering why Nikon include PProject instead of Capture with its new D70's. Is it better in any way...or has it been dumbed down for simpletons? Guess I should do a search for a review on the net. Regards
Matt. K
Matt it's been dumbed down and prettied up. BTW the two programs cannot coexist. You must uninstall one before you install the other. Peter

I'd be using NV rather than PP.

Matt, I use NV and also the included basic Capture which is ok to download adjust levels and crop. Teaching time would be about half a cup of coffee for that program.

Thanks everybody
I think I'll stick with Nikon View for the housekeeping stuff. I'd like to use RAWshooter but I am not able to get each computer onto the internet to register the program. It won't activate unless you do that. Unless someone knows a way????? Regards
