Where can I find camera comparisons on this forum?

Newer members often state that they think their question is too basic, or stupid, or whatever, to be posted. Nothing could be further further from the truth in any section at DSLRUsers.com, but especially here. Don't feel intimidated. The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked. We were all beginners at one stage, and even the most experienced amongst us will admit to learning new stuff on a daily basis. Ask away! Please also refer to the forum rules and the portal page

Have you stopped by the small sushi restaurant as soon as you get out the train station heading to Akihabara? Or have lunch with Udong noodle just little bit far on that lane?
I'll fly back there soon after I finished all my duties here for 1/2 month.

Well if you'd lived here for 2.5 years I'm sure you wouldn't be going to every sushi restaurant in town hahaha.

There are plenty of new food stalls in Akihabara now. The new Doxihote (pronounced "donkey ho tei") store replaced the old Aso Bit City.

Have you tried the all-you-can-eat chinese food there?

I was working at Kadena and Yokota AFB

I had been eating at the old Aso Bit City lot of times when I visited that "Electronic Town"

Tried All you can eat Chinese Food but didn't like much, typical Jap-Chinese.

I missed my buddies at Yokota AFB, and have few friends who're flying F16 at Kadena AFB, they came here last March when the Avalon Airshow in Melbourne.

OK peeps, I'm a proud owner of a D50 with the 18-55 lenses.

Around Akihabara today, I saw a lot of used D70 with their 18-77s. I believe many have traded for the D50 or maybe the Rebel. Not sure why, but I think its mainly because Japanese hands are small and so the newer dSLR suits them.

Anyway, took some shots and realised what a crappy photographer I was  But tomorrow I'm going to bring out my car and go snappy happy. Hopefully I will have some pictures to show.

Thanks everyone for your advice, I've learnt quite a bit about the D70 and would still consider it if I find the D50 limited in some ways (second hands are pretty cheap now). So far, I think the lightless LED on the D50 may cause some problems while taking pictures in the dark, but I never had lights on my older digital cameras either so not really a big deal.
