Lurker bobs to the surface.I've been lurking in these forums long enough and thought it was time to say G'day. My wife and I just had a couple of days in Sydney and we went to the Harbour Bridge pylon for the first time. Nice view from up there. Cheers John H.

John,
Welcome, and than for such an excellent first posting, with such a different perspective of such a well known landmark. For those coming to the AW, this is exactly the sort of view you will enjoy if you're doing the Lavender Bay excursion. g.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. This is a shot that could have been good had I taken more time with the composition. It was a rushed "this might make an interesting shot" type of moment. Perhaps someone else might give it a go. d70 kit lens 13secs f8 Cheers John H.

The second shot is fine as it is. While it may have been better with more care in composition, my view it's better to have a pretty good shot than none at all (of course it's better to have none at all than a pretty bad shot ) Peter
