Lensbabies

I went to the camera store on the weekend and this product was for sale there. I think it's quite neat and the price was $129 CAD. I heard some very good things about this lens and that a lot of Pro's love it. Anybody use this before? Or have an opinion?

I've seen and tried it! why the Pro love that lens? I didn't see the use of it after few tries.
Our member Timbo got one of them and he hasn't praise it a lot! if there's any review from their site (Expodisc), just for the marketing!

Sorry for dragging up an old topic...

I was wondering if anyone had bought one of these in AU and could tell me what they thought of it first hand- particularly when attached to a D70.

I don't want to buy Photoshop and the effects generated seem more dynamic and interesting than most people seem to get from PS anyways.

Yeap, just done so. I was hoping that maybe someone else in the last 6 months has had some experience they may be able to share... that is all :)

Here http://www.bythom.com/bag.htm, describing his equipment, Thon Hogan says about Lens Babies:
Lens Baby. More fun, especially with portraits and close subjects. A bit cumbersome to use well, but worth spending time playing with if you're looking for something stylistically different.
