ADAPT SHOW R1800 2400 4000There is an ADAPT show (expo) on near Fox Studios.
Has anyone here compared these printers? A lot has been said about the R1800, but the 2400 and 4000 have multiple blacks for better grayscale, no need to always print gloss etc. The 4000 even uses 220ml cartridges, meaning you are actually aware of the amount of ink you are purchasing. I know there is quite a difference in the costs, but I am curious because I went into this Adapt show near Fox studios (open 3 days through to Saturday), and the 'experts' (Epson employees) had a lot to say about all three. HB,
I have the 2400, still in the box, do not have time to try it yet, also have the 2100, I don't need to print gloss with the 2100. Passed the R1800, cos the 2400 will be an excellent toy. Birddog114

Well at the expo they said the 2400 blows the R1800 away for grayscale, due to the 3 different blacks/greys.

I heard that too at the first training session with Epson few months ago. Will try my 2400 soon to see how that like in comparison with the 2100. Birddog114

I don't really want to hear this boys
Crys the new R1800 owner But I am happy with my purchase, geez, I get an erection with the R1800, I don't know if I could cope with the others. Mic.
It really depends on how much you will use the thing. R1800 is not a bad choice at all, especially if you don't do BnW much.

Now see, I'm trying real hard not to imagine wonder woman with an .....well nevermind.....back to my coffee.
