Comp progress

Postby MHD on Tue Jul 12, 2005 9:48 am

Just a reminder that there is a little over 2 weeks left in the comp
You CAN submit a "place holder" entry and resubmit an image again later
Rules and Dates thread
Submission instructionsp

PLEASE SUBMIT AN IMAGE! Most images get some feedback in comments after the comp ends and it is a great way to learn... Remember ANY entry, no matter what it's score is better than no entry and you might just walk away with a prize!

There are 3 very good entries to part 2 so far! I want to see at least 10 by friday! come on people!

All,

Just to reinforce what Scott has said: this is perhaps one of the best ways to improve your photography.

And as good as the prize list is, it's merely incidental to the pleasure of submission and seeing your work on display, and being voted for amongst your peers.

Someone hasn't hidden their image. Quick whoever it was, and for gods sake don't post here saying oops, as that would reveal who it is.

The rule is people with PG + images must contact me for aproval (or risk me just taking them off...)

Most images get through, but I do reserve the right to remove any of inapropriate content...

Image has now been hidden...

Because of my exhausted - er, I mean exalted - position in these fora, I choose to not enter to ensure the appearance of propriety and sobriety in the challenges.

One outta two ain't bad. :)

There's a budget?

Anyway.. I don't want to have to compete with 59 entries. I quite like my shot this time, it's bad enough losing the comps when you know your shot isn't all that great, but when you actually put -effort- in.. that'd be horrible..

In short, no more entries please, and 18 or so disqualifications might not go astray...

p.s. I may or may not have actually entered any competition that may or may not exist, blah blah blah.. YMMV
