First portrait with new lensFirst Picture with my new portrait lens (85mm f/1.4)...thanks Birddog....
Too much red in the image has given it a bit of a colour cast...... Stuart 'Tis better to have loved and lust than never to have lust at all.
Stuart, big red colour cast on your sample, the model looks like he has red hair, so does his t-shirt & background. I will buy it from you cheap

Other than the Red, the picture is fine and well it is all a matter of playing with different things to get something you are happy with. I too take a few shots just incase to play with.

It's the king of portrait lenses. I know you will come to love it as much as i love mine. Your quality of images and more importantly, portraits, will just overwhelm you. It's sharp, the bokeh is beautiful and the depth of field is a marvel to play with.
Have fun with it and i hope to see more of your portraits. Steve.
