Welcome Slider.
These are really nice images! Looks like we're going to see some great photo's from you. I especially love the first one. Looks as if the handle is coming out of the photo!! Well done and keep playing. Cheers, Jase. Jase - 'Motorcycle Gallery' - 'Car Gallery'
Kingsley the frame is an action, this one is known as a double matt frame.

Good shots, Mark. All are sharp and exposed pretty well. My fav is the cat. It's a very nice shot. If it were mine, I'd crop the right side to move the cat off center.

For those outside Queensland who may not know, Pumicestone Passage is a narrow strait that separates Caloundra and Bribie Island. It is well known as an angler's paradise. You can get an idea of its beauty here: http://www.bcl.com.au/Sunshine-Coast/views/sc015.htm TFF (Trevor)

Youve got some great pics there Slider. Love the cat and the rusted metal.
The foal is great too! Only comment I'd make there is that Id possibly crop off the other horses ass All very nicely PP'd too. Are these pretty much out of the camera, or do you have quite a bit of PS experience already? Smile; it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

Wow. Thanks for the warm welcome and kind comments.
I have been using a Fuji S602z for the past few years and after meeting Oneputt and a few other photography enthusiasts on a 4x4 site I found my interest rekindled and of course now the upgrade to the D70s. Only had it for 3 days and I absolutely love it.. Thanks to Oneputt for informing me of this site. It looks like it's frequented by a great group of people. In answer to a few of the questions back up the page. They are pretty much straight out, shot in raw and then converted in PS with some minimal cropping to tidy the edges. Still got heaps to learn about converting the raw images but it's all good fun. Cheers
