ACDSEE Users?

Postby Nikon boy on Mon Jul 25, 2005 8:11 am

Hello, I'm getting a little tired of Capture Four and the amount of time it takes to edit/alter my images from the D2X, both in Raw and JPEG,are there better systems ?, I note quite a lot of positive comments re ACDSEE , i would appreciate opinions please, thanks

Nikon boy,
I'm using the NC4.3 and it's doing well with a batch of 200-300 photos in full RAW of the D2x, it takes times but I didn't see this issues are problems with me.
I have tried ACDSEE before, but does not like it much, same amount of time to spend with the NEF of D2x, not less, so I put it off.
Perhaps other members on this board might have and use it.

Nikon boy,

512 Mb is just enough to start Win XP and other bits & pieces of other applications, to run NC4 or other program as PSPSCS/ PSCS2, I recommend you boost it up to 2Gb RAM, more space on the disk to use as scratch disk and what P4 do you have?

Geez, I thought I was in good shape with 1Gb of RAM, now I find I am only half way there. Off to the shop today.
