decided to try out the new/old nikkor 105 f/1.8. seems alright, almost zero ca against backlight. what do you guys/girls think? Life's pretty straight without drifting

These are fantastic Redline. I'm really enjoying your still life (food ones were great too!).
For me I like the third, followed closely by the first. I have all the inspiration in the world to constuct a light box and play around with some still life....just have to get rid of the kiddies!
the 1st would be my pic. evokes more of a "moment just finished" as a tired man gets up from his reading to rest his eyes through the night. DOF is wonderful as well. Great job on all of them.
