Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. I like this one. Not sure why but I do.
Are they setting up for a wedding "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're probably not close enough." Robert Capa.

Strangely, yes, they are setting up for a wedding...people walking by kept asking me what time the wedding started...I was like "uh no clue" -- Then the limo pulled up and I guess things got under way.
That's the park I go to all the time -- winter, spring, fall, and summer...during the summer, mostly, it is overrun by people ... that's why I like winter the best, I'm the only one there -- well, me and the ducks. I like what you've done with the sky and the way it contrasts with the landscape. It's kind of like something foreboding is about to happen (maybe it is).
My only criticim (that you can fix easily if you want to) is that the horizon is a bit off horizontal. Regards
Jonesy
Deapee - I too like this shot for its serenity - the horizon is fine as the buildings verticals are also fine.

Thanks folks, for the comments...much appreciated.
That's actually a road along there. I guess I *could* straighten the horizon, but then the gazebo would be at an angle heh -- too bad God didn't make all hills perfectly horizontal Thanks again. D70 | Nikkor 18-70 | Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8D ED | Nikkor 85 1.8D | Nikkor 50 1.8D | SB-600
