PreeningThis pelican was sitting on a light post on the Hervey Bay jetty, so I was able to stand pretty much underneath him while he preened. He had such beautiful snowy white plumage, I couldn't resist - especially when the sun was reflecting off his bill.

Great shot stormy. As many have, I imagine, I have tried my hand at a pelican shot, and I know that it isn't easy to get one that really stands out. Yours does.
