First soccer shot's with D70s 10 pic'sMy sons under 7's game over the weekend , not to bad considering the lens - 200mm macro a bit slow to focus
Hey, great shots. Some of the expressions on the kids' faces are priceless. And the colour and clarity are superb.

Some excellent action shots there which will be put in the soccer team 'hall of fame' (or should that be hall of frame) album! Well done, clear, sharp and well executed!

Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Some very clear shots!
#3 and #9 were my favourite, both encourages commical commentary on the sidelines : #3 (kid in the middle) - "Doh the sun's too much, forgot my sunglasses!" #3 (kid on the left) - "Too right mate! Let me say a pray and hope it rains" #9 (kid in the blue) - "I'm gonna get this one and nobody is going to stop me!" #9 (kid at the back) - "Doh nobody's giving me the ball, can I cry?" Hi mitedo, excellent example of action photography. I really enjoyed all the shots except the dog one. Seem out of place with all the wonderful images of a very interetsing soccer match. The clarity is excellent. They belong in the sport sections of a major paper!
Thanks for the kind word's guys i realy like the colour from the nikon camera & lens all of the shots have just a bit of Sat about +5 & smart sharpen then framed
Moggy the lens i used was the Nikon 200mm f4 Macro not the best lens for this type of shooting but its all i have for now
Those images are fantastic, if these represent what you can achieve with that lens then you should stop crying. So sharp, the colours incredible.....truly it is me that must do the crying. The kids shots are all great....but that doggy one.... Deb "Sometimes when you are sad Poko, it's good to hug the monkey."
Fantastic mitedo, done well to capture all the action and expressions on the kids faces. You mentioned slow lens well i am a believer that it is how you use a lens, get to know what it can do and cant do like people say the 80-400 is too slow for motorsport but i have had good results even with the 70-300G, get to know it and have fun.
These shots are great. Cheers John BBJ D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X

#6 is a great action shot and I love the colours in the last one.
#3 would be my favourite. The expressions are all priceless as in 'sh*t, this thing is gonna hit ME' Well done. As others have mentioned, all very sharp, focused in the right places and lovely colours! Smile; it makes people wonder what you have been up to.
There are some very good pics there, mitedo, sharp, with just the right amount of DOF. Nicely done.
