Lavender Bay and Toronga Zoo AW meetG'day all,
Just getting around to some processing... Haven't even started the stuff from the recent Otways workshop thing, and just done a few from the meet which was a BLAST Thanks so much to all those that partook of the frivolity, had a great time thanks to the hospitality of lotsa friendly people Anyway, I stuffed up the pano and couldn't join the left one as the boats had moved too much so I'll have another go later and do the extra PP to maybe edit the boats a bit on the far left image so I can have the other coast line etc in the final image... Using the 12-24, hubba hubba... And of course I can't help myself and ended up at Toronga Zoo with the other animal nuts What a team Pussycat licking his lips after milk for breakky: Friendly Kookie (who I think secrelt enjoyed the attention): An interesting couple: Say cheeeeese: Aka Andrew
Hi Mudder - really like the pano! Did I get you right when you say you used the 12-24? I wouldn't have thought of using that for a pano! What do you use to join with?
Glad you enjoyed the zoo - it's a fairly unique spot eh - and it's slowly updating itself into what I think is a pretty good zoo - for the animals, and us humans! Great to meet you (and others) at the weekend, hoping to meet more in future events *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Have you heard from your zoo girlfriend Mudder? Mudder was chatting up a couple of ladies at the zoo on Sunday.
The pano i sgreat. Always a fan of the animal pics and that Snow Leopard really posed hey. Great pics! Nicole

Errr ummm, yes the Zoo was Fun Nicole, not sure which direction the chatting was going sometimes tho
Was a great fun day though, would love to spend a morning just haning around the big cat enclosures... Could get some really terrific images in those enclosures, different to what you get used to... The pano cracked me up tho, something went wrong (they were just quickie hand-held jobbies) check out the bent pier in the middle Aka Andrew
G'day mate, Two #$!@ing runs we get done by!!!! I almost cried.... Ahh well... anyway, yep 12-24, too lazy to change lenses up there, used autostich mate, these shots were were REALL quick hand-held and I stuffed up on the horizon badly on a couple and I think that made it bend a few bits to make it fit Fun though... Cheers mate. Aka Andrew
Andrew, I would be pretty happy with the top shot

Btw, Leighton (Fozzie) and I went back to Toronga Zoo today as I wanted to catch out the Wedge Tail Eagle at the lunch time show. It wasn't their on the Sunday afternoon show. We bumped into the Lion Lady, she wanted your number as she thought you were hot.
Ps, I'm back if you hadn't noticed, and Andrew thanks for the use of the kit lens. Now can I have my cirpol back Oh and if you find an extra rear lens cap, it's mine. Darryl (aka Kipper)

Hi Andy,
What's all this talk about you chatting up the ladies? That pano is bloody awesome, mate! Looks like a Meerkat standing next to a mirror in that shot. Excellent capture! Must get up to Sydney one day. Tooranga Zoo looks like a really nice place to take some great pic's. Cheers, Jase. Jase - 'Motorcycle Gallery' - 'Car Gallery'
