Mitedo and I were talking about coming down for a minimeet. We might do this weekend instead except that is a long way off.

Oneputt,
If you and mitedo start a planning now, it'll be good time for you coming down and join us the fun that we always have with others.

I will actually be in Australia in December, so will try to coordinate my time in Sydney with this event.... it would be nice to meet some of the faces behind the names!!

That is, if stubbsy can promise not to take a mugshot of me..... I HATE :x having my photo taken..... that's partly why I took up photography - so I could be on the other side of the lens!!! :P :D

I'm sure this Xmas party is lot bigger than last year with the number of attendees same as much of surprised stuff which we have in mind.

The door prizes on last Saturday evening is about 50 items and we had 71 attendees, and the result of the challenge 7 will be a highlight for the night.

Try to make yourself available by marking the calendar/ diary now, you won't regret or disappoint, pls. take my words.

But while we'll be using it, for instance, minimeets, I not yet convinced that we'll be using it at our Chrissie Dinner.

For one thing, I'm not yet sure that our Chrissie dinner venue will be able to support the wireless connection as we used last Saturday. That was a big part of it, and even so, we had a few signal drop-outs.

I'd need to ensure a strong and reliable connection before even considering taking all of the requisite hardware along to support this ....

Whereas at Birddog's, all we need to bring along now is a camcorder, presuming that one of his PCs is equipped with a Firewire port, and we're in business.

The wedding will be over but the idea of babies is a long way away. I need to buy my D2x for the baby images first. :)

Then again isnt the baby bonus $3000??? Is it double if its twins??

That's what I expected. Your backyard is a no-brainer in this context.

The Christmas dinner becomes an issue depending upon the room .... I'm not sure, but I don't, for instance, expect that the room we were in last Friday night would have good unwired capabilities, and that would put the stamp of disapproval on the exercise.
