This isnt my best ever picture - but it gives you and idea just how cold it gets in the national capital. Brrrr. Canberra is chilly right now.

Looking north and slightly east, you can see the frost glistening in the shadows and melting as the sun hits it.

WW,

I should have taken a picture of my car the other week when we had a whole 7 days of sub-zero overnight temps! The doors were actually iced/frozen closed one morning! (and not looking too dissimilar to Darb's ute)

I was in Liverpool Saturday morning. Out of bed at 6 am to head to birddogs and help with AW duties, got in my car, turned on the windscreen wipers to wipe off the dew and they didn't get all of it so I gave the washers a burst. The water froze on the screen and I had to wait 5 minutes for it to melt off

Where do you live Matt
Peter

Okay, it is not quite frost, but I thought snow was close enough:

This was taken from Mt Ainslie looking over the war memorial to parliament house.
And yes it is snow, not cloud or fog.
Trust me. It was cold up there!
