Nikon D70 Focusing

Postby kipper on Tue Nov 23, 2004 4:45 pm

Hey guys, playing around with the D70 again after work. Was also playing around with it lastnight. Something I've noticed is that when focusing that focal length (zoom) appears to move in and out in the viewfinder. Which is something I've never encountered when using my Nikon F80. Is this behaviour normal?

(Kipper wonders if he should fire up his F80 and check before he looks like a real dill :) )

If it looks like it is happening on a prime, it must be just an optical effect rather than anything actually going on with the zoom.
