Dumb LSII question

Postby Marvin on Thu Aug 04, 2005 12:59 pm

Hi all,
I received my LSII today and I have to admit, I have no idea! It took me 10 minutes to get it on and I'm still not sure if it's on properly or not. Is there a trick to getting it on and off?
Thanks,
Marvin

Marvin: position the flexible silicon thingy on the top of the SB800 first, then wedge the LS2 on top. It's a bit fiddly, but only takes me about 15s now. :)

The silicon grip will soften with use. Mine is quite easy to attach now.
The dome however is another matter... I may need to cut a small segment out to allow a bit of room to wedge it off.

I got my LS2 today. Thanks Birddog.

It fits perfectly on my SB600 - it just slips on no worries.
The 600 must be slightly smaller than the 800.

Started taking pics straight away with the flash pointing straight up and the half dome on (having now read the online turtorial, it seems that most shooting is done without the half dome....)

Seems like a good gadget but already have answered the 'what it question' many times!

Cheers

Perhaps we should have a comp for LSII owners:
What is the most bizarre answer that someone has accepted from you after having asked 'what is that thing?'

Tell them it's one of those gadgets from MIB and get them to look at it.
