Snowing in HobartWoke up this morning to snow falling in Hobart. Fairly unique occurrence, especially considering how close we are to the river.

A veritable winter wonderland.
I'm waiting for it to snow in Sydney. Then I can pull the roof down on the convertible and torment Sycamore #1. g.

Hi John,
Interesting to see it snowing in Hobart, I was there in June and it was very cold. I like the 3rd picture of the daffidil (Spelling?) it could maybe benefit from a little fill flash or boost in PS. The images make's me feel homesick Nikon F80D, FM2n

Great shots there John. Bel and I toured Tassie in a campervan a few years back and it's one of my favourite, if not most favourite holidays ever...we had a great time - a beautiful place!! Keep up the great work and don't stop posting! Cheers,
Geoff

Beautiful pics!
I was waiting patiently all day for it to snow in Melbourne, but it all happened around me. Victoria experienced some great falls in South Gippsland, and around the Great Ocean Road. Even Phillip Island got a dusting! Magical stuff! Had the D70 sitting on the dining table ready to grab.....that's where it stayed, unfortunately.
Hi John, Nice pix and yes been bloody cold here as well. 8degrees yesterday and all Lisa was saying here wish it would snow as she has never seen it. But yeh i have and well i know where i would rather be and it aint outside. We have had the reverse cycle going all day most days lately as it is cold and i been to slack to get the door fixed on our slow combustion heater, they are great but getting harder to get wood now days and yeh very dear to buy. Anyhow hope you had fun.

I did a bit more work on the poor overloaded daffodill. I think this one looks better. D3, D300, 14-24/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 85/1.4, 80-400VR, 18-200VR, 105/2.8 VR macro, Sigma 150/2.8 macro
