Does anyone know of a supplier of tripod leg wraps in Australia. They are for a Gitzo 1227LVL :D

Chris,
If you can wait a little bit more, I'll have something come from Optech USA and they're the same on my tripods.

Marc, copper pipe lagging works very well

Try reece plumbing, they should supply black foam lagging for copper refrigerant pipes as used for connecting split systems. I might have a look at the factory tomorrow as we might have some there. Just measure up the leg diameter and say that you want it to suit that size.

Hi Chris

Hardware House has a range of hot water pipe insulation which I found suitable for my G2227 legs. Comes in a few different diameters. About $7.00 a length from memory

Thanks Birdie - I was looking at these from B&H but the postage was more than the item. I need the 1" model and I will wait for your supply to come in :D

3M makes a clear automotive fil for Auto protection that would work well. Its fairly inexpensive if you can find it.
