For all those that have endured my frustration and angst about my lens...I just went for (another) look and....

Your item was processed in the handling centre (SYDNEY) at 15:34 on 11 Aug 2005 and is scheduled for delivery.

ACtually I'd like to publicly thank Glen and others for their help with this, without them I don't know where I'd be. I'd also like to thank God, my parents, my producer...you're the best! Ok ok...enough of the melodramatics, but seriously Glen - u've been a champ! The others know who they are :).

Geoff, no answer from your phone (you couldn't be sleeping when your lens is coming, could you  ), but just walked in the door after a walk to find they had delivered your lens in my absence. :D :D :D :D

Guess I might be seeing you today? Or maybe I am going to have a good weekend?

I got some stuff stopped at customs, with a value of over $1000. They emailed me a 'Nature 10'. Has anyone seen one of them before

Christ, I couldn't believe that so much information could be required (Name of sales persons second aunts uncle in law...), but then I remembered it was the government after-all. I phoned customs helpline for assistance and got people who didn't know the answers. Very frustrating, made my lenses stay in custody one more night.

Advice: If you can get your packages broken into seperate parcels with totals less than $1000 AU, it will save time, effort and having to get your brain around a 'Nature 10'.

Raskill, I got the same thing on Geoff's lens, all 14 pages! The name sounds like you are doing obscene things to animals

All those acts are the natural of life, you have to cope with it and be happier!

Pls. show me the way to break loose a AF-S II 500mm so the boys in blues won't notice its full value?

Same as 3 x D2x arrived this morning from O/S suppliers.

I need to learn more skills from you guys to do this task or buying a Nikkor 24-200VR under $500.00 from Greybeard on other thread

Bravo all your works
