Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Dome at NightI think these came out really well for the second time I took the D70 out for a spin, however I think it was more good luck then good management.
This was taken in Singapore about 400m away from my Hotel, it was late at night and I had spent the whole evening out testing out my new camera. I liked the archectiture so spent a while trying to get some good shots, here are three of them. Not so sure about it in BW, but thought I'd throw it in. And there is my favourite version. Please comment, suggest or critcise away
BTW, Are these an alright image size ? I read the forum rules, and it said preferably no larger then 800 pixels on the largest size ? Just me shots seem pretty tiny compared to some of the other's I've seen.
Alpha, good work with these. All three are good, the BW included. I like the composition of #3 best, it is well contained within the frame.
Your images here are 400 pixels on the long side - they could be twice that and will be more striking I think. The 800 pixel thing is a guideline, but a reasonable limit for a number of reasons. However, the odd image that is a bit bigger doesn't really matter. Greg - - - - D200 etc

Hi Greg, I found my mistake, I was linking with all the images to their "mid-size" not their full size version in the gallery. Rookie error I guess, but at least it explains the size difference. Thanks for the feed back, the third picture was what I called me first postcard moment, where I felt I'd taken something that could of been a Postcard somewhere. Should be the bigger one.
Alpha, you have copied the address if the smaller default image from pixspot. You have to click on them a second time to bring up the full size image and copy and paste THAT address. Like this:
