Kerry, i love them both wow it must be nice to have somewhere to go and take all these wonderful shots you present to us as usual. I wish we had a Zoo close by and we have a wildlife park but all you see is a couple of emu's and some kangaroo's. Spose to be some Koala's but eventime i have tried to look for any i think they go into hiding.

Two more excellent shots Kerry, although looking at the birdie reminds me of my own profile (in the mirror)

Thanks for all of the kind comments, guys. They're appreciated.
BBJ: I've been to 5 different zoos, from Washington DC to Chicago and a couple in between. But, I do have 2 zoos in the general vicinity, one here in Detroit about 15 miles from my home, and one in Toledo, Ohio, about 55 miles away. I'll be hitting the close ones again in the near future, as soon as the temperatures get down to more reasonable levels, prolly in September. my gallery of so-so photos

hmmm, good question. I don't know. I haven't heard anything about it lately, so I guess it must have been put out. my gallery of so-so photos

Great shots Kerry. 1/80s at 400mm, very impressive.
Cheers

BBJ, being in Mt Gambier, I'm sure you're a stones throw from places that have Brown Falcons, Black Falcons, Nankeen Kestrels, Black Shouldered Kites, Peregrin Falcons, Wedge Tail Eagles and all the other fauna that habitat the areas around there.

Thanks again for the kind comments.
Mudder: I don't recall a lot of the specifics of the eagle shot, so can't say why it's in landscape. my gallery of so-so photos

The shot of the bald eagle....WOW. I love it. Thanks for the post, I get to go shoot a wildlife park on Friday and I was just thinking I should start prepping for it...
