Happy Birthday to Stubbsy

Postby joet on Sat Aug 13, 2005 5:02 pm

Chryssine and I wish many happy returns to one of the Forum's real stalwarts :D :D

Don't worry, Peter, growing older is something we've both had plenty of practice at and it ain't all that difficult   ... and sometimes it can be a lot of fun :!: :!: 8)

stubbsy/Peter,

Happy 50th Birthday. Good reason to open a Penfolds Grange Hermitage and sit back and enjoy every drop.

Happy Birthday Peter! Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke..many happy returns and here's to at least another 50 years! With science and technology moving the way it is, this is not all that unrealistic. Just think you might be 100 and own a D7x :)

Thank you one and all for the kind wishes. I'm touched that so many of you took the time to wish me well on my next half century.

Just finished tidying up after the party last night. Lot's of nice reds were had by all, but (fozzie) my 1980 Grange is being shared with 5 of my closest (and wine appreciating friends) in a week or two rather than giving each of the 55 people at my birthday bash a teaspoonful.

I believe Sheepie and birddog should have an ample supply of embarrassing stubbsy musgshots to share. Be mindful when critiquing their effort that they had a poor subject to work with

Oh, and I don't even have a hangover!

I figured I'd hold off posting until you were sober again.

And then I realised that I'd probably be waiting for anbother 50 years.

Hippy barthday anyhow; all the best for a long and healthy life.

I had at least a 4 panadol hangover, but I blame birddog for that, for insisting I drink more crown lager! Thats me holding the candle above Stubbsys head, dripping a bit of wax to make his head extra shiny
